Somehow I need to make it look a bit prettier, but I'm not sure that will actually happen this year. We'll see ... I need to put together some wooden platforms that the pots can sit into, but I'm not about to pay for that and I don't know how to make it!

For now, I will sit back and think about all the delicious peppers and lettuce and kale and other yummies these containers will provide for my family - and since the round containers were free, well, I can not complain one bit about how they look!
In other garden news, both potatoes and peas have sprouted!

This makes me so excited. I planted those seeds, what, 2 or 3 weeks ago now? And there are the plants - so beautiful and wonderful to watch grow.
The carrots have not come up yet though, which really makes me wonder if they will grow at all. If nothing happens in the week I think I will dig them up and try to replant and hope it works this time. I think I put them too deep in the soil and so it's totally my fault.
Ah well, live and learn - and it does appear that at least some of it will turn into actual food! =)

It looks like you are in for some really yummy meals! I admire your ambitions. I don't think I have enough sun for this many veggies. I look forward to seeing how those peppers and peas progress. Thanks for joining the tour.
I think container gardenign makes a lot of sense! My lettuce container is the easiest part of my garden to maintain.
